Activities

We have meetings at different places in South London about six times a year, plus since 1997 an annual all-day inter faith walk, visiting five or six faith communities in their place of worship, since 2003 in collaboration with a more local multi-faith group.

We have speakers and discussion.

We organise inter faith prayers for peace on Remembrance Sunday.

We visit faith communities and places of worship.

We try to tackle important topical issues from a multi-faith perspective.

Some events focus particularly on young people.

We have social occasions and share food together.

We like to work in partnership with the more local inter faith organisations in South London. We are in touch with about 20 such organisations at present.

A newsletter is distributed by e-mail or in the post every 3-4 months, and members receive postal mailings with details of all the main events.

We have members in all 12 of the Greater London Boroughs south of the River Thames, as well as some members who live outside the South London area.

Our Committee includes Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh members.

We welcome new members from every faith or none.
